The Hilton Blue Horizon Chapel is a purpose built, exclusive wedding chapel situated on the stunning foreshore of the Cairns inlet in the grounds of the acclaimed Hilton Hotel Cairns. This is a state of the art wedding chapel featuring all glass walls with a canopy of sails suggesting a vista similar to a grand sailing ship. The entire chapel is set in a reflecting pond; the bride and groom look out over an infinity waterfall that flows from the reflection pond with views taking in the magnificent grounds of the Hilton Cairns and further on, to the waters of Trinity inlet.

The chapel is approximately 60 square meters in size and is fully air conditioned for guests comfort. There is individual seating for 34 guests, with additional standing room for another six guests only internally. There is additional standing room outside the chapel, with speakers to enable those guests to hear the ceremony, and of course, they can watch the ceremony by standing at the edge of the water feature and looking back into the Chapel through the glass windows. There is ample room for up to 100 guests standing outside the chapel.

What are the ceremony commencement times?
9:00am, 12noon, 3:00pm, and 6:00pm.

What is the Chapel capacity?
There is individual seating for 34 guests. However using a stand seat configuration approximately 85 guests can be catered for internally. Utilising the external features (see above) the number of guests is virtually unlimited.

What sound facilities are available?
There is a CD sound system inside the Chapel. There is also a cordless microphone and a portable keyboard / organ.

Is the chapel air-conditioned?
Yes. The Hilton Blue Horizon Chapel is fully air conditioned.

Are there toilets?
Yes. There are male and female toilets inside the Hotel itself.

How do I make an Accommodation or Function Booking?
Accommodation and functions are to be booked direct with the Hilton Hotel.

Booking Fee: A $300 non refundable booking fee is required upon confirmation of your booking. Then 50% of total price is to be paid 120 days prior to the wedding ceremony. Balance to be paid 40 days prior to wedding.

Cancellation Policy: Applicable in the following circumstances, and includes all booked optional extras.

• Cancellation fee of 20% of entire wedding costs will be charged if wedding is cancelled 71-90 days prior to wedding.
• Cancellation fee of 50% of entire wedding costs will be charged if wedding is cancelled 41-70 days prior to wedding.
• Cancellation fee of 100% of entire wedding costs will be charged if wedding is cancelled 1-40 days prior to wedding.
• Cancellation fee of 100% of entire wedding costs will be charged if wedding is cancelled on the day or parties no-show.
