Hilton Blue Horizon Chapel

Weddings at the Hilton Blue Horizon Chapel are situated on Cairns’ stunning foreshore amongst the hotel’s landscaped gardens, with views of Trinity Inlet and the rainforest mountains beyond. Purposely designed and built to harmonise with its location, the Hilton wedding chapel has a canopy of sails reflective of a grand sailing ship. It’s set amongst a reflection pond with an infinity waterfall flowing to the gardens below. These creative exterior design elements are complemented inside the chapel with soaring ceilings, mirrored tiles, artful stylings and floral arrangements, creating a magical space for the most glamorous Hilton Cairns wedding ceremonies.

Hilton Blue Horizon Chapel

The Hilton Blue Horizon Chapel is an inspirational setting for your special day, delivering the best of Cairns in one amazing location. Exchange vows to a backdrop of tropical gardens, rainforest mountains and the gentle waters of the Coral Sea beyond.

Designed and developed to provide a unique tropical wedding location, this non-denominational chapel combines views with ambience.

Exterior design elements include the forward-facing sails, with angular glass prism and walls. They flood the chapel with light, creating a mirror on the polished tiles inside.

The chapel is fully air-conditioned and features a custom-designed signing table, seating, welcome board and high-quality surround sound system. Matching flower stands line the aisle. Simply stunning in its simplicity and stylings.

The chapel accommodates up to 70 guests (seated & standing). Large groups of up to 300 guests can be catered for in our unique garden chapel ceremony set-up.

Add The Wow Factor To Your Wedding

Being located on the Cairns waterfront and adjacent to Marlin Marina, enables you to really add a ‘wow’ factor to your wedding at Hilton Blue Horizon Chapel.

Why not take a wedding day photo tour of the Great Barrier Reef, gliding over the Coral Sea with its remote sand cays, before ascending the rainforest mountains that surround the city? Helicopters depart from the marina, a short walk away.

Private fireworks can be arranged to light up the sky over Trinity Inlet, during your Hilton Cairns wedding reception. Or incorporate theatrical pyrotechnics to illuminate key ceremony moments. South Pacific Bridal can arrange all of this and more.
