A micro wedding is a smaller, more intimate celebration, typically with 30 guests or fewer. Unlike an elopement (usually just the couple and a few witnesses), a micro wedding includes a hand-picked group of family and close friends, with the ceremony, meal, and photography you’d expect from a full wedding, delivered on a smaller scale.

A waterfront chapel ceremony at the Hilton Blue Horizon Chapel in Cairns, then a private three-course dinner in your own function room. The balance between an intimate wedding and a traditional celebration.
10 to 45 guests
Exchange vows at the Alamanda Chapel, then celebrate with a three-course lunch on the sand, with Nu Nu’s cuisine, the Coral Sea as your backdrop, and a flower shower after the ceremony. 10 am ceremony, 11 am–3 pm reception.

An afternoon ceremony followed by a beachfront dinner under festoon lighting strung between the palms. Includes canapés, a three-course Nu Nu dinner, a two-tier wedding cake, longer photography coverage, and a bonus floral budget. The classic tropical wedding, scaled to a smaller guest list.

A Palm Cove chapel ceremony and a private dinner at Pullman Sea Temple’s Lagoon Bar. Four hours of photography are included.
The minimoon · 2 to 6 guests
A Hilton chapel ceremony, then a helicopter flight to a Great Barrier Reef pontoon for a snorkel tour, marine biology lab visit, glass-bottom boat and gourmet lunch. A wedding and honeymoon in one day.
Our elopement packages are more than you expect – they contain a prosecco toast, wedding cake to cut & share and a first dance on our oceanfront deck. All the big moments from a traditional wedding, with a small guest list.

Usually, yes, because fewer guests mean lower catering and venue costs. It is also a chance to invest more in photography, food, and the setting. Packages are all-inclusive, so you know what you’re paying for up front.

Yes. Most of our micro wedding packages include a lunch or dinner at Nu Nu Restaurant, the Hilton, or Pullman Sea Temple. Note that Alamanda Micro Magic is held inside Nu Nu Restaurant, where other diners are present, so music and dancing aren’t permitted.
Yes, our packages are flexible and customisable. If you already have a photographer or florist, we can remove those from you package, or the “Pure” ceremony-only packages give you exclusive use of the chapel with our team supporting the ceremony.
Book 6–12 months ahead for peak season (May–September) and 2–6 months ahead for off-peak.
